Sweeter than honey, tastier than curd, pleasanter indeed than any happiness and joy is the company, is the power of the name of Krishna.
The students of GDSPS celebrated the birthday of Lord Krishna with great devotion and enthusiasm on 18th August 2022, Thursday. The students came traditionally dressed up as Lord Krishna and Radha.
A splendidly colorful program was organized by the children and staff of the school; where students presented songs, dance performances. An awareness of Janmashtami, the mythological stories of Krishna, Radha, Kansa– through short movie was shown to the children. Prasad was distributed to all children after the puja. Principal Ms. Mukul Jha while addressing the kids spoke about the importance of the moral values taught by Lord Krishna. She apprised everyone that the holy occasion brought people together and signified unity and faith.
In the end, the pre-primary coordinator distributed sweets to the children. They also did colouring in the picture of little Krishna, his flute and matki. Later, they danced to the tunes of songs of Lord Krishna.
