Students of today are the visionaries and torch bearers of tomorrow. Nurturing students to be future leaders, GDSPS held the Investiture Ceremony 2022 on 6th August, 2022 to bestow the deserving students of the school with responsibility of leading the school with honour.
The chief guest for the event was Mr. Rajesh Brar, SHO, Rajinder Nagar. The programme commenced with a prayer to seek the blessings of the Almighty. It was followed by a welcome dance performed by the dance teachers Mr. Nishant and Ms. Diksha, which held everyone spellbound with their performance. The melodious and invigorating song by the choir group perfectly suited the event.
The elected appointees were invested with their respective designations followed by the swearing-in ceremony, as the proud parents and teachers cheered on.
The Principal Ms. Mukul Jha inspired and encouraged the newly elected leaders to remain dutiful and responsible in their thoughts and actions.
In his address, the Chief Guest appreciated the efforts of the school in providing opportunities to the students to take part in several activities. He also congratulated the newly appointed student council for their preparedness to take responsibilities. He encouraged them to use these opportunities and balance them well with academics to excel in life.
The event concluded with inspiring speeches by the newly elected appointees. The objective of the event was to espouse the confidence, development of leadership qualities and sense of responsibility among the students.
