Diwali Celebrations

Diwali is the festival of lights that illuminates the hearts and brings happiness to every heart. There was an atmosphere of happiness in the school decorated with vibrant colours. The special assembly started with a prayer, wherein, students of primary classes also sang Ram Vandana and a song in which a brief description of devotion to Hanuman Ji was presented beautifully.
Reflections on the theme of ‘Relevance of Ram in present times’ by Smt. Rekha, highlighting the message of Diwali, invoking God’s blessings and encouraging students to follow the ideals of Shri Ram. Montessori students presented RAM STUTI and poems composed by Tulsidas. Also, children enacted different characters of Ramayana and stunned the audience with the dramatic adaptation of a melodious song based on the Ramayana. The dances performed by the students of Montessori, Primary and Secondary classes enthralled everyone. Shri Manish ji, the guardian of one of the students, volunteered to give a message to the students to understand the ideals of Lord Rama and awaken the qualities of Rama in order to overcome the Ravana within themselves. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks and a message of a clean, peaceful and bright Diwali by Shri Anurag Arora, a member of the Parent Teacher Association.
