BOTTLES FOR CHANGE

The school organized a session on BOTTLES FOR CHANGE, an initiative of Bisleri, for classes VIII and IX.
The session was to create awareness about the virtues of plastic and the importance of recycling. It focused on educating consumers about the right method of disposing of used plastic by cleaning it, segregating it, and sending it directly for recycling. The students were apprised of the ways to collect and send out plastic for recycling. It was a very informative session for students as they learned how plastic is being recycled to make cabin crew uniforms from recycled plastic by airlines. Their knowledge was enhanced further with the information on how recycled plastic is finding a place in the making of floor tiles, garden chairs, and benches.
