Jayant Nahata (Batch 2012-13) , B. Tech and M. Tech from IIT Delhi in Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology, 2013-2018.He represented India at Enactus World Cup, South Africa, 2015 for Smokeless Cookstove Project. He received a Scholarship for Summer Research at Ecole Normale Superieure, Paris. He was ranked 183 in GATE Exam, 2017. He secured Rank 298 in UPSC Civil Service Exam, 2019. Dr. Tarun Rajpal is a gold medallist in Life Sciences from University of Delhi. He has developed edible vaccines from pathogenic organisms, which encodes for antigenic proteins and has the ability to provoke an immune response in human beings as well as animals to cure HIV and Cancer (specific types). He has also developed a genetically modified variety of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens which is extremely useful during oil spill.
He is youngest author to write a textbook on Biotechnology and is also the author of three books on Biotechnology published with McGraw-Hill Education (India) Pvt. Ltd. And Springer Nature India Pvt Ltd.
Shivam Shukla (Batch 2016) is an international-level shooter. He created a new record at the 2nd ISSF (International Shooting Sport Federation) Junior Cup held in Germany and the 25th Meeting of Shooting Hopes, Czech Republic,2015. He was declared the highest scorer from India in Pistol Shooting and bagged the second position in Centre Fire Pistol and Standard Pistol. He got the 11th position in 18th Asian Games Palembang, Indonesia and 42nd position in 52nd World Championships, Korea 2018 in 25-meter Rapid Fire Pistol.
Jasdeep Singh (Batch 2013) has studied Computer Engineering from NSIT,Delhi and was awarded a merit scholarship in academics for all four years. He secured 99.26 percentile in CAT 2017 and pursued MBA program at XLRI, where he was ranked 3rd (Batch 2017-19).
He is currently working as a Trade Marketing Manager in AB InBev, the world’s largest brewer and one of the largest FMCG companies in the world.
Varun Attri (Batch 2012) is a top Hairstylist who launched his own product line ‘VA Products’. He has been trained by brands like L’Oreal India, Sebastian professional, and Vidal Sasson. Being a Creative Art Director, Varun has also been awarded as Sebastian’s Best North Indian Stylist.
Following his passion, in 2019, he opened his salon and has collaborated with over 50 well-known celebrities. He has keen interest in gaining expertise in the field by continuing to learn and develop his skills.
Palek Sharma (Batch 2009) is a leading professional with experience of working with international organisations. She has worked with the Government of Switzerland’s diplomatic mission in Bangalore, the Consulate General & the scientific outpost – Swissnex India. She headed Swiss government’s Human Resource in Bangalore while liaising between Switzerland & India via Ministry of External Affairs in Delhi, Vidhana Soudha/ State Protocol in Karnataka & Federal Department of Foreign Affairs in Switzerland.
Dr Bhawna Yadav, BDS, MDS -OMR, (Batch 2005) is an Oral cancer specialist .She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of Oral cancerous and precancerous lesions and the radiology of oral and maxillofacial region. She is the co-owner and director of Kukreja Dental Care,
Ghaziabad . She is associated with ‘Litchi Knowledge Center’ that aids in the oral health of school children and is a Dental Specialist at Dharmarth Aushadhayala .
Kashish Lahori, School topper (Batch 2012) was also placed among top 0.1% students for scoring 100% in Mathematics. She completed B.A (H) Economics and worked with Zee Business Channel as Research Associate and later pursued Masters in Human Resources. She is presently working with the Aditya Birla Group as a Human Resource Leadership Associate and plans to get learning exposures across industries.
Priyanka Sharma (Batch 1992) pursued her Bachelor’s in Computer Application and then completed her post-graduation in HR. She has multiple certifications to her credit and is a Cisco Certified Network Administrator, Quality Management System certified, Environment Management System certified and Six Sigma training certified.
She is currently working with Wood PSN , a UK based MNC in capacity of a Service delivery lead which is responsible for managing HR transformation projects and operations across the UK & APAC region.
Sumit Jana (Batch 2013) is currently working as Territory Manager in IDFC Bank, Bangalore.
Post schooling he did B Com – Honours from Delhi followed by MBA ( Marketing) from ICFAI Business school, Bangalore
Aanchal Choudhary did Bachelors in Applied Psychology and Masters in Clinical psychology . She is presently pursuing M Phil in Clinical Psychology .
Samridhi Seth (Batch 2013) is a software developer, currently working at ADDA247. She did her graduation majoring in Computer Science. In the final year of graduation, she qualified for the GATE exam, post which she pursued Masters of Technology and qualified for the UGC NET exam
Nitin Chugh (Batch 2005) completed Computer engineering in 2009, worked in IBM for two years and then did MBA .Currently, he is a part of the core team at PharmEasy as Vice President of customer retention and experience.
Kumail Abbas (Batch 2013) is a leading Advocate in the Hon’ble High Court, Delhi. He specialises in Civil, Criminal and Commercial cases. He has memberships of Bar Council of Delhi and Delhi Bar Association.
Arti Seth (Batch 2007) is a technology professional, currently working as a Software Engineer with Expedia group. She did her Under-Graduation and Postgraduate majoring in Computer Science , Currently, she is working as a Software Engineer with Snapdeal.
Prasidhi Tyagi (Batch 2011) holds a Master’s degree in Biochemistry and is pursuing her Ph.D. She has worked as IASc-INSA-NASI Summer Research Fellow at University of Hyderabad and has also been a part of various National Training programmes at premier institutes such as Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi (IARI) , Centre for Cell and Molecular Biology, Hyderabad (CCMB) etc.
Dr Aanchal Mongia (Batch2011) is a postdoctoral researcher at University of Pennsylvania. She is working on developing machine-learning frameworks for single-cell omics data. She received her Ph.D in Computer Science and Engineering where she proposed graph-based matrix completion models for collaborative filtering and several bio- informatics problems including scRNA-seq imputation and drug-imputation . Her broad interests include Machine learning, Bioinformatics, Collaborative filtering, Deep learning and Graph theory.
