Excursions (Snapshots)

“It’s better to see something than to hear about it a thousand times.”
School educational trips enhance students’ learning experience by providing opportunities to participate in activities outside the normal school routine. With the intent of bringing the real life practical knowledge into class room experiences, students of class Nur and KG were taken for a visit to the Air Force Museum and Railway Museum.
It was an opportunity to look at the contribution of Indian Air Force, closely. It also helped in developing the spirit of patriotism amongst our students for our soldiers who work round the clock to provide security to our nation. Tiny visitors were greatly impressed by the historic photographs, uniforms, anti aircraft guns, personal weapons and various models of the fighter planes on display. At the Railway Museum students were excited to see the exhibits of engines and coaches. They were enthralled to ride a toy train that took them around its sites. As the toy train passed through a tunnel students clapped and cheered. It was a great learning experience for all.
Coming back from the trip, free hand drawing and colouring recap activity was done in the classes, wherein the students were encouraged to put their day’s learning on paper.
