ORIENTATION OF PARENTS FOR CLASS XII STUDENTS


 

The orientation day for the parents whose children will take board exam in 2018, was held on 30th March. This was aimed at apprising them of the examination pattern, assessment criteria and what support is expected of them.

 

The orientation of other classes followed in the beginning of April on different days. Special workshops were organized for the students and orientation of parents took place in respective classes.

MOVIE SHOW FOR STUDENTS

 

Students of Class XII went to American Centre to watch a movie ‘Hidden Figures’ on 24th March, 2017. The movie was about the equality of gender and races. The film is based on the true stories of three black women working for NASA in 1961 in the United States of America.

ALUMNI MEET


To take a walk down the corridors of nostalgia, the Annual Alumni Meet was organized on 18th March, 2017. The occasion was graced by Alumni ranging across various batches which have passed out from school.

The programme commenced with a prayer and a brief note on the growth of the school since its inception. The juniors presented scintillating dance performance on a dance medley for the alumni.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Ms. Mukul Jha encouraged the alumni to forge strong bonds with the school and become partners in its future growth. While addressing them, she praised them for their achievements and expressed her pride for Gyan Devi Salwan Public School and  its Alumni who are holding positions of responsibility in various organizations.

The members of the alumni promised that they would inspire their juniors with their experiential advice and by visiting the school time and again to give their inputs.
